Perspective Collection

This series of images is part of an editorial campaign I created for a range of accessories in year 12 visual studies - design. The pieces use a combination ply wood, soft PVC plastic and embroidery thread, contrasting organic, synthetic and traditional materials to compare the differences between the three and the way natural, traditional and modern elements can work cohesively in modern times. The images which feature the modern products, the brick wall over a century old and the natural element of ivy reflect not only this but the way we add and take from all of these elements to create new things. For me the deconstruction and recreation of images and environments reflect the impact and importance of this in day to day life, and how society learning to use all these elements to creat a more harmonious environment has changed the world into what it is today.
